"Parliament must investigate Eskom as it did with SABC"

Financial Mail deputy editor, Sikhonathi Mantshantsha says Parliament was successful in removing the unshakable Hlaudi Motsoeneng.

Parliament has confirmed a full scale inquiry into Eskom as more claims of state capture are emerging through the Guptas leaked emails.

Financial Mail deputy editor, Sikhonathi Mantshantsha, says Parliament is the only place that can successfully do an investigation into Eskom and drive it to a logical conclusion.

That has been proven recently with the SABC. Hlaudi Motsoeneng seemed unshakable until Parliament got involved.

According to Mantshantsha, Parliament might not take any legal action against those involved in criminal activities at Eskom but it will certainly root out the rot inside Eskom and its management.
