Political analyst Karima Brown says Finance Minister Malusi Gigaba is the enabler of the Gupta family.
Documents apparently show Gigaba improperly intervened to grant several members of the Gupta family naturalised South Africa citizenship.

Brown says Gigaba needs to explain why he overruled the decision to deny the Gupta family citizenship and unburden himself with regards to state capture.
The analyst claims that Gigaba has allowed Gupta-linked characters to take over the state under his watch, since his days as minister of public enterprises.

Karima reflected on Gigaba's recent remarks and manoeuvres in the face of political and economic challenges.
According to Karima, there appears to be disagreement within the Zuma camp about how to deal with the leaked Gupta emails and the corruption they expose.
