The country of Botswana mourns the death of its former President Sir Ketumile Masire, 91.
Masire died on Thursday after he was rushed to hospital.
EWN Africa correspondent JJ Cornish says Botswana has been blessed with very good presidents including Masire who was president of Botswana from 1980 to 1998.
He was very highly respected in African circles and in the African Union, a bastion of democracy. He leaves a solid legacy.— JJ Cornish, Africa Correspondent
