The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield interviews Mol about his money beliefs, hopes and fears, successes and failures.

My first paying job was as a waiter at a Chinese restaurant.

Michael Mol

My first investment was a bad decision… My father has, since then, never taken investment advice from me… I lost R250 000…

Michael Mol

The first thing I do when my paycheque comes in is to take 10% and give it away.

Mol – who graduated from the University of Pretoria in 1995 – started his career as a medical doctor with interests in emergency medicine and HIV management.

He won the Mr South Africa title in 1996.

In 1999, despite continuing medicine, he began his stint at Top Billing.

In 2011 Mol started producing and presenting SABC 3’s “Hello Doctor”.
