Knysna fire victims to get free financial advice

The Financial Planning Institute has mobilised over 300 professionals to do pro bono work over three months for those affected by the fires starting July 1.

CEO at Financial Planning Institute, Godfrey Nti says the 300 professionals will be available to assist with financial planning for the victims to help them get their lives back together.

Eden district homes were destroyed when strong winds fueled one of the biggest fires recorded in SA's history.

Victims of the fire are currently trying to rebuild what has been left behind in the aftermath.

FPI is a recognised professional association for financial planners in South Africa.
