Cape Town is arguably South Africa's most congested City.
On Monday, a listener asked Africa Melane why the roads are so much easier to navigate during school holidays and whether or not the congestion is likely to get worse as Metrorail's service continues to sink?
Africa Melane and his team approached expert, Dr Lisa Kane from the University of Cape Town (UCT) Centre for Transport for answers.
Kane says from the data gathered, about 25% of the morning peak trips are related to schools.
