No Holy Cows spared in Vytjie Mentor's new book
Former National Assembly Public Enterprises Portfolio Committee chairperson, Vytjie Mentor is launching her self-published book No Holy Cows.
Mentor has been thrust in the media following her vocal remarks on President Zuma and his ties with the Gupta family.
Lindsay Dentlinger, EWN reporter was at the media briefing held by Mentor on Thursday. Dentlinger tells CapeTalk's Koketso Sachane that Mentor has fearlessly said she is not affected by her detractors and critics.
She feels this is the right time to expose what she knows, sharing her experiences during her tenure in government and the sexual harassment accusations against President Jacob Zuma, at least twice.Lindsay Dentlinger, EWN reporter
Dentlinger says Mentor told journalists that the first alleged sexual harassment incident occurred twenty five years ago and the second took place years later when she was the African National Congress' (ANC) parliamentary caucus chairperson.
She says its not just President Jacob Zuma that can be accused of sexual harassment within the ANC.Lindsay Dentlinger, EWN reporter
According to Dentlinger, Mentor says sexual abuse in the governing party dates as far back as the liberation struggle days. Dentlinger goes on to say that Mentor said she is prepared to go to court for the revelations in her book.
