Two Israeli police officers were shot and killed on Friday morning in Jerusalem's Old City, just outside one of the world's sacred sites.

It was later confirmed that two police officers died and another one was taken to hospital and civilians were injured.
Three attackers were killed on the scene, she says.
There is currently a heavy police presence and the area remains closed for security reasons.
