Difficult start as Proteas play second test against England

The Proteas have had a difficult start losing an early wicket in the second Test against England which got underway at Trent Bridge on Friday.

Cricket commentator Jeremy Fredericks says the team will need to weather the storm and get through it.

Not the start we wanted but it is always going to be difficult, it is probably debatable whether they should have bowled first.

Jeremy Fredericks, cricket commentator

I just think South Africa needs to weather the storm, it is going to be a trying morning. They have got to get through this first session unscathed.

Jeremy Fredericks, cricket commentator

You know they have had a lot of disruptions in the team, the death of Russell Domingo's mom and we wish him all the best, Faf du Plessis not being there and then Rabada out of this Test match, it would have been interesting on this wicket if Rabada had played.
