Zikode also shared how the movement sought assistance from an international human rights organisation for protection in 2009, when members of the African National Congress attacked his family and other high ranking leaders of the organisation.

Eyewitness News reporter, Ziyanda Ngcobo has more on developments at the commission.

We have heard some harrowing testimonies from their leader, Sibusiso Zikode who shared how their members have either been intimidated, harassed or killed by authorities or local ANC councillors because they have been speaking out on corruption regarding the allocation of houses by the eThekwini Municipality.
