Crystal Orderson says that the upcoming Kenyan election will be one of the most expensive elections in Africa with an estimated $1 billion price tag.
The election, that will take place in August, is clouded by security issues and questions around integrity.
The internet in Somalia has been restored after an outage that lasted more than three weeks. While the lack of internet hurt business, attacks by militant group Al Shabaab dropped during this time.
