The former assistant coach at Parktown Boys High, accused of sexually assaulting at least 20 pupils, faces at least 160 charges.
The State has revealed that the counts range from attempted murder, exposure to child pornography and grooming.
The 22-year-old man was caught on CCTV camera fondling a 15-year-old teenage boy last November.
He appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Wednesday, reports EWN's Thando Kubheka.
It's revealed that about 22 under-age complainants have accused the former water polo coach.
It’s not yet clear whether all alleged victims attended Parktown Boys High, but it’s understood they are all under 18 years old, Kubheka explains.
The accused is out on bail and the pre-trial is expected to start on 8 September.
