#NoConfidence - EFF says it has lobbied Mbete and Mthembu ahead of secret ballot

Economic Freedom Fighter's general-secretary, Godrich Gardee, says intense lobbying has happened ahead of the secret ballot in the motion of no confidence against President Jacob Zuma.

We've spoken to Jackson Mthembu and Baleka Mbete. It's up to them to listen to the voice of reason in Attridgeville, Soweto, Mpumalanga...

Godrich Gardee, EFF

It's never happened in this country where a secret ballot has been granted, this is different from the previous motion of no confidence.

Breakfast Show host Xolani Gwala also spoke to SACP second deputy president, Solly Mapaila, who said the ANC could have saved the country and the party by going this route had they acted earlier to remove Zuma.

The ANC NEC came up with excuse after excuse to remove Zuma. It's the best thing for South Africa if he is removed.
