CapeTalk's Go Beyond Women’s Breakfast kicks off on exciting note

The day for CapeTalk's Go Beyond Breakfast, in partnership with Old Mutual, has finally arrived.

About 240 women from all walks of life have gathered at the Century City Conference Centre to listen to great speakers lined up for the event.

CapeTalk's Breakfast show is broadcasting live from the centre, where the event is being held.

Women such as Jo-Ann Strauss, Nicola Tyler, Bonnie Mbuli and CapeTalk's Pippa Hudson will be sharing their inspirational stories and provide insight on what it takes to 'Go Beyond'.

CapeTalk's Africa Melane spoke to Priya Naicker, Advice Manager of Personal Finance at Old Mutual, about why the company has made a decision to be part of this event.

We truly believe that the power lies in embracing diversity and embracing the perspectives that women bring to the table.

Priya Naicker, Advice Manager of Personal Finance at Old Mutual

We really need to pick the ball up as individuals and change the way we view each other, and empower each each other in the process. It is really about the shift in attitude and culture within ourselves.
