Use water wisely through Drop Drop App

Residents are advised to carefully observe their water consumption as dam levels remain at critical lows in the Western Cape.

Now an app, called Drop Drop, has been developed by Information for Community Services Team ( iCOMMS) at UCT to help users track their water consumption as well as predict what their monthly usage is.

iCOMMS founder, Professor Ulrike Rivett, says the app is simple to use and it guides the user through the process of understanding your water meter reading.

Once you have taken a couple of readings for three days, it will basically help you understand your water consumption.

It also helps you identify any water leaks by guiding you through the process...
