Khoza didn't show leadership - Jackson Mthembu

ANC chief whip Jackson Mthembu has slammed Makhosi Khoza for failing to lead the committee she headed and accused her of ill-discipline for hurling insults at committee members.

Mthembu said Khoza told committee members that they were "so desperate to be appointed Ministers and deputy Ministers" and questioned their "integrity, intellect and fortitude."

Mthembu said she told committee members at a meeting convened on Tuesday that officials who weren't there would be disciplined and continued to insult them.

This instruction [to remove Khoza] came to all chairpersons and whips from Luthuli House.
