As if dealing with high data costs isn’t painful enough, Vodacom customers now have to contend with disappearing data.
Thousands of angry users saw data bundles and airtime disappear before their eyes overnight.
Vodacom spokesperson Byron Kennedy says the problem was caused by a configuration change on their billing system.

He says the company as a result had an airtime and data issue.

Kennedy says out-of-bundle charges will also be refunded and depleted data bundles will be reinstated.
