Vodacom customers fuming over disappearing data and airtime

Vodacom users were outraged after their data bundles and airtime disappeared on Monday evening. Vodacom has since apologised to its customers and opted to reimburse them for their loss.

Vodacom subscribers took to social media to express their concern and hold the network service provider to account.

I'm one of those affected but I wasn't aware until this morning. I have called their call centre but they are clueless on what to do.

Mlungisi, caller

I'm not buying the story Vodacom is feeding people. I had the same problem last week, I phoned Vodacom, my airtime depleted in under four minutes and that R275. They said I had left my apps open. They still haven't sent me my personalised billing receipt as I had requested.
