Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa told the National Assembly on Wednesday afternoon, that it was critical for a Commission of Inquiry into state capture to be established.
Author and political analyst Dr Sethulego Matebesi, says he doesn't think government is taking calls to investigate state capture very seriously.
He says the implicated persons, through the GuptaLeaks, are key ANC members - which is essentially the government.
There is definitely no political will to deal with this state capture issue.

Matebesi says Ramaphosa is caught between a rock and a hard place. He seems to be making cautious decisions so as not to offend certain factions within the ANC, he concludes.
