"SAA operates well despite financial problems"

The financial turmoil South African Airways (SAA) is facing has raised a lot of concerns about the operations of the airline. While they are in huge debt, with billions owed to service providers, they do continue to work well.

This is according to Linden Birns, Managing Director, Plane Talking.

Despite all the issues around governance, finances and everything else, the airline continues to operate very well and very efficiently, largely because of professional approach of the people in charge of operating and maintaining the aircrafts.

Linden Birns, Managing Director, Plane Talking.
