Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) head Robert McBride’s teenage daughter has accused him of assault.

McBride is being investigated for assault after his daughter claimed that he beat her and tried to strangle her last week Sunday.

It really saddens me to think that this girl, a teenager, is out there in the public. Everyone around her will know that it’s her. It’s just the way it is. You can’t keep these things a secret no matter how hard you try.
