Excitement is building over Durban's 2022 Commonwealth Bid

The Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) Evaluation Commission was in Durban last week evaluating the city for the 2022 games, and the bid committee invited some of South Africa's best Instagrammers to take photos of the various venues where the games would take place. We tagged along for the ride, and loved every moment!

Durban sells itself as 'South Africa's playground', and anyone who has been on vacation to the city would agree that it offers world class entertainment.

Last weekend 702 Digital traipsed all over the city with an itenerary of the various venues in Durban that would host the different sports - and South Africa's best instagrammers with iphones and DSLR's in tow.

We checked out an empty Moses Mabhida Stadium, which would be the main focus of the Games according to CEO of the Durban bid committee, Tubby Reddy.
