The death toll from Nepal's devastating earthquake is now over 6,200 as fresh aftershocks and over 8 million people have been affected by the quake that shook Nepal a week ago. EWN's Mia Lindeque has been reporting from Nepal as the region recovers from the disaster.

One of the major concerns here is the [destruction] of historic buildings, experts say that with some of the new buildings they're not using [the right materials] to actually build their houses. It's so fragile that they [the buildings] collapsed from the middle and it's because of the poor construction so it's something that they will have to look at especially with the fears of more aftershocks coming.
