International conference in SA brings heavy haul industry into the spotlight

The first International transport sector conference on South African shores in 20 years is bringing 1 000 engineers and professionals representing 25 countries together.

The 11th International Heavy Haul Association (IHHA) Conference focuses on investing in a sustainable freight rail and heavy haul industry to ignite trade through Africa.

Brian Monakali General Manager of Capital Planning at Transnet says that the conference is a way for countries to learn from each other and implement solutions throughout the continent.
