Sine Ndlela is the brains and creative behind the birth of Yo Coco, a dairy artisanal ice cream brand.
Ndlela is a self proclaimed ice-cream lover and her struggles to find vegan ice-cream posed a threat to her sweet tooth, she decided to create her own ice-cream.
She says the only dessert that vegans could have were sorbets, frozen yoghurts and thats about it, which is why initially she thought that she should make frozen yoghurt.
Yo Coco was then built on the principle of serving love to people and also preserving the environment while doing it explains Ndlela. She goes on to say there's is a misconception about vegan and healthy treats and that they can't be tasty and healthy at the same time.
Yo Coco is here to debunk that. Healthy food can be fun.
