Corruption Watch is preparing a submission to the US Justice Department requesting a probe into consultancy firm McKinsey.
The organisation says it believes that McKinsey may be in contravention of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act over its conduct in South Africa.
Eskom paid Mckinsey and Gupta-linked company Trillian R1.6 billion payments that were red-flagged by New York-based firm Oliver Wyman.
Political analyst Karima Brown says those implicated in the Gupta leaks and state capture may need to 'lawyer up'.
