Vaughan and Lauren Manuel McShane are the only South African couple to be invited to contribute to National Geographic's new book 'Ultimate Journeys for Two'.

The couple's popular blog, thetravelmanuel.com, has been voted Africa's Top Travel blog for two years running.

The book, written by the founders of HoneyTrek.com, reveals hidden-gem destinations and insider tips for unforgettable couples travel.

Vaughan and Lauren wrote the beaches and islands section of the book and their chapter looks at the Tioman Island in Malaysia and shares tips on what to do while visiting there.

They also spoke about their travel blog, the challenges of traveling as a couple and visiting unfamiliar destinations.
