Sweet LionHeart is an online patisserie studio specialising in designer occasion cakes, including birthday, wedding and baby shower cakes.

Co-founder Nikki Albertyn explains that she initially started Sweet LionHeart when she was working as a graphic designer and her business partner Karmen de Reuck later came on board.

Sweet LionHeart offer a range of unique sweet treats and hosts workshops for others passionate about bespoke baking.

It's been a symbol of bravery for me to start the business.

I only went full-time after Karmen had joined and knowing that she was there with me made it easier to take the leap of faith.
