CapeTalk host Pippa Hudson hosted a panel discussion on the importance of literacy for a child's development.

She was joined by occupational therapist Roxane Atkinson, speech therapist Elizabeth Nadli-Nir, children's book author Niki Daly and reading advocate Jade Jacobsohn.

The panel explored the benefits of reading and developing a storytelling culture in young children.
