Caller relays how he was bullied as a child

There has been angry reaction after a 13-year-old boy died, possibly as a result of injuries he sustained while fighting off school bullies in Ekurhuleni.

Despite interventions from family and a support group, it appears nothing was done by school authorities to stop the violent attacks.

An organisation called Families in Need had contacted the school on several occasions in an attempt to stop the bullying of the grade seven pupil.

Brian from Montevista shares how he had endured bullying for most of his primary and high school years.

He says the past events have resulted in his depression.
