OnseTV launches this Friday to cater to the coloured community

A new television channel catering specifically to South Africa's coloured community will launch Friday, 29 September 2017.

OnseTV will be run by husband-and-wife, Jaco and Hilda Ferreira who started the Afrikaans TV channel ASTV.

CEO of OnseTV Jaco Ferreira says in the twenty-two years he has been in the broadcasting industry he has noticed how the coloured community is barely catered for.

We saw that gap and decided to go to the communities and give them a voice to say what they want and how they want to say it.

Jaco Ferreira, CEO OnseTV

It's definitely going to bridge some cultural gaps.
