Democratic Alliance marches to Gupta home

On Thursday, the Democratic Alliance (DA) led a march to the Gupta compound in Saxonwold, Johannesburg. The Gupta family had threatened legal action to stop the march taking place.

DA leader, Mmusi Maimane says the Gupta home represents the capture site of President Jacob Zuma.

Refiloe Ntsekhe, National Spokesperson for the DA says they targeted and chose to march to the Gupta home because it where South Africa was captured.

Ntsekhe says the DA erected a pole that symbolises where state capture began and believes they did not violate the Gupta as they gathered a few feet away from the home.

We are symbolically saying we want an ad hoc committee established to ensure allegations into state capture are investigated.
