PICS and VIDEO: EMS urges motorists to avoid low lying bridges in Joburg storm

On Monday afternoon, Johannesburg was hit by heavy torrents and a hail storm.

Johannesburg EMS spokesperson, Robert Mulaudzi tells Afternoon Drive host, Bongani Bingwa that they have received several reports of thunderstorms accompanied by hail in some parts of the city.

Mulaudzi goes on to say that most roads were flooded by afternoon despite no reports of major incidents. He says they are urging motorists to avoid low lying bridges.
