WATCH: Cargo ship runs aground amid #DurbanStorm

The heavy downpours in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) have wreaked havoc and claimed the lives of at least two people.

Efforts are underway to right and refloat an MSC INES cargo vessel that ran aground, catapulting cargo containers across the Durban harbour.

Harbour tugs are attempting to right this container ship. You can keep track of their efforts on the live map below.

At the same time, at least five hospitals have been adversely affected by the heavy rains and emergency teams remain on standby throughout all affected areas.
