Why 'I believe you' are important words for sexual assault survivors

The founder of 'Not In My Name' says believing survivors is a powerful tool against sexual assault.

The 'Not In My Name' campaign was born as a response to the ongoing abuse of women across the country.

Not In My Name's Siyabulela Jentile says reaffirming and supporting sexual assault survivors from the start could potentially help prevent any further abuse and trauma.

This comes after singer and former ANC MP Jennifer Ferguson broke her 20 year silence after claiming to have been raped by Safa president Danny Jordaan.
