Jerome Booysen of Sexy Boy's life could be under threat

According to Eye Witness News reporter Kevin Brandt, Jerome Booysen of Sexy Boys gang's life is allegedly under threat after a man, dressed as a woman gained access to the hospital where Booysen was admitted.

It is reported that a fight apparently broke out at the hospital and a man linked to a gang was wounded.

Booysen was wounded in a shooting at Cape Town International Airport on Wednesday.

Brandt says there have already been three attacks on Booysen's life this year alone. It's still unclear who is behind these attacks but according to media reports, the attacks are linked to the underworld gang's conflict over the club security in the city.

I was told he was going to be moved to another facility as these men found out exactly where he is. There are already concerns about his safety and security.

Kevin Brandt, EWN reporter

There are safety concerns within the hospitality industry, with owners demanding to know what the authorities are doing to curb the violence that's spilling into public spaces.

This follows a shooting that took place at a popular club in Stellenbosch claiming the lives of two people as well as a shooting at Cape Town International Airport, where Booysen was injured.

The MEC has said he received a number of calls from people in the hospitality sector wanting to know whats going on and whats been done to curb these incidences from happening.
