The Centre for Creative Education has taken a firm stand in transforming individuals and society by training teachers and performing artists.
It is an independent, non-profit, Waldorf-inspired institution based in Cape Town.
Speaking to CapeTalk's Kieno Kammies, Willem van der Velden, Academic Head at Centre for Creative education says their method of teaching is different from the conventional ways of learning.
They emphasize artistic creation as a central component of learning and health, and a means of profoundly engaging the liberal arts and sciences, social cohesion and well-rounded thinking.
