Two men found guilty of forcing a man into a coffin and setting it alight near Middleburg have yet to learn their fate as they appear before the Middelburg Magistrate's Court on Monday.
Theo Jackson and Willem Oosthuizen were found guilty of attempted murder and other charges.
During their last appearance, the pair were granted extended bail.
Judge Sheila Mphahlele found the two guilty of attempted murder, intimidation, kidnapping and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Phakgadi says it is likely the accused will appeal the sentencing.
What we have got through their legal team is that they want to hear the kind of sentence the judge is going to give them and only then will they think about appealing.— Pelane Phakgadi, EWN reporter
