A group of disgruntled UCT students is expected to hold a mass meeting on Tuesday following attempted disruptions on campus.
The Chancellor Oppenheimer Library on UCT's upper campus was temporarily shut down by a group of protesting students.
It's believed the group told students to vacate the building.
University management had earlier closed the facility as a precautionary measure, reports EWN's Kevin Brandt.
