Maths whizkid, Otshepeng Babeile off to Europe to represent SA

Otshepeng Babeile is a 12-year-old girl from Mafikeng in the North West whose passion for maths and science is taking her to Europe.

Babeile is one of 27 others selected to represent her school (Sol Plaatjie Primary School) at an exchange programme starting on November 30th in Italy.

Babeile says she's extremely excited about her forthcoming trip to Italy. She says she's always loved mathematics and science from a young age.

Babeile explains that she was told in November last year that she would be jetting off to Europe and adds that she couldn't believe the news at first.
