Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer among men worldwide.

However, it is the third deadliest cancer after lung cancer and colorectal cancer.

1 in 6 men will develop a form of prostate cancer in their life, says urologist Dr Shingai Mutambirwa.

He advises that men get their prostates checked at least once a year, particularly after the age of 40.

According to Dr Shingai, early detection of prostate cancer can help with treatment and avoid further complications.

If you get it picked up early, you have a 90% chance of cure. And a lot of them don't require operation or radiation treatment. We can prevent long-term problems.
