Online school registration for Gauteng learners closes midnight- Panyaza Lesufi

Friday 10 November is the last day for parents to ensure their children going to grades one and eight in the 2018 academic year are registered using the online system.

Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi says no child who has registered using the online system will be left without a school.

He says the challenge the department will face is parents who may want their child in a particular school and reject the recommendations offered by the system.

End of November, all applicants will know whether they have been accepted or not.

Panyaza Lesufi, Gauteng MEC for Education

Any new parent who has not applied by the end of the deadline must know their child will not be accepted at the beginning of the year.
