Travel to an ancient, fairytale land in Mpumalanga

We’re going East to the land of the rising sun says writer and photographer Bridget Hilton-Barber.

Walkersons is a gorgeous country estate just outside Dullstroom in Mpumalanga. This is one of those eat, sleep, walk, chill kind of places says Bridget.

Bridget laughs as she claims that men tend to go there to fish. She adds that there is a spa if you feel like getting a massage or facial.

Think trout dams, mountain scenery, amazing food and the feeling you get when you spend the weekend away at your grans says the photographer.

It’s a gorgeous, gracious country hotel.
