Actress Hlubi Mboya Arnold talks scholarship opportunity for aspiring filmmakers

Award winning film and television actress social justice and civil rights activist, sponsored athlete, educator scholar and social entrepreneur, Hlubi Mboya-Arnold was on the radio to chat about scholarships being offered by the SAE Institute in Cape Town.

The SAE Institute's will be offering scholarship opportunities for South Africans interested in learning Film Production at a state-of-the-art campus in the heart of Cape Town at the renowned Woodstock Exchange says Hlubi Mboya-Arnold.

The Hlubi Mboya Arnold Sunshine Cinema Scholarship will cover the full tuition fees for SAE’s full-time Higher Certificate in Film Production at the SAE Institute in Woodstock, Cape Town.

On Thursday evening, Hlubi Mboya hosted a master class which provided the ideal opportunity for to learn new skills, pick up important tips and network with like-minded individuals.

She says she also used the moment to share her experiences of the television and film industry with young people who hope to be a part of the industry.

The scholarship is open to all South African citizens and all candidates must hold a Grade 12 certificate. The scholarship is only valid for the July 2018 study intake. Candidates will be responsible for all living and travel expenses should they come from outside of Cape Town.
