There are companies that do well.

Then there are companies who do well, and good.

For the next few weeks The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield will interview someone from a business that makes a difference as part of his weekly “Make a Difference Mondays” feature.

“Make a Difference Mondays” is all about businesses – no matter how big, or small - that are socially aware, and doing good work.

It’s about businesses that are innovative in the way they are making a positive difference in the world; perhaps even sacrificing profit to do so.

If you know of a business that fits the bill, please send an email to contact@702.co.za.

This week Whitfield profiled Thabisa Mkhwanazi (Public Affairs Director for Africa at KFC) and Kimon Phitidis (Member of the CSI Committee at PEP).

He also spoke to Miles Kubheka, founder of the Vuyo’s brand, about his novel idea for helping small business owners get onto huge billboards.

Then, the most inspiring of all, Whitfield spoke to Emile Alexander, a popcorn maker with a heart of gold.

Listen to the interviews in the audio below (and/or scroll down for more quotes from it).
