African National Congress (ANC) presidential candidate Baleka Mbete was put in the hot seat on Monday, during an interview with Karima Brown. Mbete is one of the seven candidates contesting for the top job in the ANC.
Twitter users were not impressed.
ANC had government machinery at its disposal for more than 24 years. When it had economic growth as a policy as opposed to rampant looting things looked possible. Now...not so much. Sorry Baleka...you have nothing left. https://t.co/yamo2ZCYlz— chris kilowan (@leader5007) November 28, 2017
Highlighting what your responsibility is towards your voters is not advancing a plan, policy or solution Madam Speaker of the House. You will use your government machinery? The same machinery that has failed still? #702townhall pic.twitter.com/cUqf7QVPGI— baby buffalo (@_Leroy_Marc) November 27, 2017

Here is what Khabazela (Jonathan Fairbairn) and the rest of the Breakfast Show team had to say.
Now we understand what government machinery is, it is when Nomvula Mokonyane bends over and picks up the rand. That government machinery in action, manual labor.— Jonathan Fairbairn, 702 producer
Government machinery could be Sars.— Stephen Grootes, 702 anchor
