ANC member's lawyer confident they'll win case surrounding Free State legal woes

ANC Free State members are angry that the province held a "surprise" provincial general council to consolidate branches' leadership nominations ahead of the December national conference. Party members were caught off guard when an announcement was made on Monday.

The province is still dealing with disputes from branch general meetings, held to nominate national leaders. Today members of the party were in cour challenging the processes towards the provincial elective conference.

Hanno Bekker, Legal Attorney at Bekker Attorneys is representing one of the ANC members in the Free State who are seeking an interdict to prevent the conference from taking place this weekend. He is confident the court will rule in their favour, due to the ruling of a similar case.

Once we look at this other case, there all the points were crystalised and that ruleing went effectively in their favour - its a similar type of case we're running now.
