Meet the inspirational man who has lived with HIV since birth

Ntimbwe Mpamba was born HIV positive. At 34 years, he is the longest living person who was born with the virus in Africa and the second in the world.

He became an activist after he publicly disclosed his status in 2010 speaking to large numbers of people at various events, including churches and schools, spreading the awareness about the virus.

He is now a goodwill ambassador for the Aids Consortium and a peer educator for Unicef.

702's Azania Mosaka spoke to Mpamba ahead of World AIDS Day on 1 December about his life's journey and to commemorate the day.

When I was young, I was put on Vitamins and my mother would put them in sachets and says they are sweets.
