Two hundred and twenty three branches in Mpumalanga province voted for unity during its Provincial General Council.

Dr Mathews Phosa, ANC Presidential candidate says the outcome of the Mpumalanga PGC is illegal and should be nullified. He says they have videos of people saying to delegates they must vote for 'unity'.

The ANC system needs to be cleaned up. We have been fighting corruption in this campaign and in the ANC so the ANC conference cannot have delegates who are ghosts, people who go there they must be properly elected delegates.
