MultiChoice and Naspers may face class action suit from US Law firm

Naspers and MultiChoice could be facing a possible class action lawsuit in the US after an American law firm announced that it is starting an investigation on behalf of Naspers investors.

MultiChoice announced to Naspers that they're doing their own internal investigation says TV Critic, Thinus Ferreira.

I don’t really know how a company can really investigate itself.

Thinus Ferreira, TV Critic

At first, I thought the law firm was representing MultiChoice, but it turns out that the law firm (Pomerantz LLP) is doing their own investigation says Ferreira.

Naspers is an international company says Ferreira. He adds that the law firm put out a call asking Naspers investors asking if they were affected by the drop in share price.

They are doing it because Naspers American depository receipt price fell on the 1st December when some of these allegations come out so that price fell about 5.5%.

Pomerantz has now created an online page where Naspers investors can join a possible class action suit.
